The Times We Shared
I see you are upset,
And that is something I wont let,
Just calm down; I have not lied to you,
That I can promise I'd never do.
Remember that day,
We left our lives a stray,
As we danced the night away,
I know I will never forget that day.
Then before that time,
I kneeled with a ring and asked if you would be mine,

Painful Possbilities
As I enter the locker room,
I feel the fear of it all being taken away
I can't sit here worrying about it,
But how will I ever be sure?
Now I put on the pads and I think
Maybe tonight will be it.
Then I put on my jersey and say to myself,
"I have to put this out of my mind."
Finally I step on the field.
I see the opposing team and I know
I can't dwell on this thought.
I must persevere.
I get down into my stance,
